About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

Must-Have : EPIC experience

Description :

The Cath Lab Tech will work in the invasive cardiology department.

This department consists of procedural labs as well as a prep and recovery area.

The Cath Lab Tech will perform various invasive procedures including cath, electrophysiology (EP), and peripheral vascular cases.

The team includes skilled invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, RNs, and technologists.

The Cath Lab can handle cases ranging from diagnostics to complex interventions.

Treatment options include advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest options such as Impella and ECMO.

The EP side involves procedures like cardioversions, implants, and ablations for rhythm issues.

The Cath Lab is evolving towards structural heart procedures, expanding the range of services offered.

Candidates should be able to care for COVID patients.

The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

There will be on-call requirements for this position, as needed by the unit.

The candidate will work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying days off.

The position requires two of three major holiday shifts worked, with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year.

The successful candidate will undergo a clinical review to ensure fit with departmental guidelines.

An interview will be conducted by the manager following clinical approval.
