Taylor Design, a 100% employee-owned company, is looking for a Lead Interior Designer to join our San Francisco office. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, creative, and passionate architects and designers on award-winning projects.
Responsibilities The Lead Interior Designer is an integral member of a project team, working on all phases of projects from planning and conceptual design through construction. Responsibilities include leading interior design efforts on multiple projects, mentoring interior design assistants and interior designers, and participating in business development activities.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar education or experience.
7+ years of Interior Design experience.
NCIDQ or CID accreditation or currently working toward credentials.
Basic knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of visualization software such as Enscape or Lumion, preferred.
Effective communication skills.
Membership in industry and networking groups such as IIDA.
Experience in creating applicable design concepts and preparing material palettes.
Experience with Construction Administration including RFI’s, submittals, and an understanding of construction processes and schedule.

Salary range is dependent on geographical location, years of experience in the industry and core markets, software skills, role responsibilities, and licensure and / or certifications.
