The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, operations management, and supply chain management. This role is critical in ensuring that our plant operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity. The Senior Plant Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes, to ensure the facility meets expectations for production scheduling, inventory control, operating rate and facility financial performance. The Senior Plant Manager also leads by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance and overall administration of the plant to ensure seamless functioning, and the production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish, refine, and implement operational policies and manufacturing processes to align with company goals, providing clear strategic direction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess plant performance and identify areas for improvement, review budgets and analyze profit margins to optimize productivity and meet financial objectives.
- Manage procurement and resource allocation, ensuring production schedules, inventory control, operational efficiency, and financial targets are consistently met.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, lead, develop and retain talent, while establishing robust succession plans.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, maintaining the highest quality across plant operations and personnel.
- Lead continuous process improvements across manufacturing, customer service, and supply chain functions to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace by implementing employee engagement initiatives and championing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Design and execute strategies for new business growth and expansion
- Oversee client support services to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing or a related field is preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.10+ years of management experience at an operational level within the electronic product manufacturing industryExtensive knowledge and expertise in the power domain, including products, inventory control, and distribution managementFamiliarity with local industry standards, regulations and guidelinesComprehensive understanding of diverse business functions within a factory setting, such as supply chain, finance, and customer serviceProficiency in data analysis and familiarity with performance and operational metricsProven problem-solving skills to address both technical issues and interpersonal challenges across departmentsExceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation capabilitiesExcellent leadership skills with strong analytical and decision-making abilities to effectively guide and direct the site team, to motivate and develop the teamProficiency in developing and presenting business results to leadership and clientsProven track record in initiating improvements in manufacturing processes.Mandarin (Preferred)
