Job Summary :
This position is responsible for handling all drain belt operations. Ensuring forms are clean, filled appropriately and accurate documentation. Orchestrating the flow of the fill area such as equipment set up, stagging and following the production schedule. This position requires leadership skills with strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping and personal conduct rules.
Job Responsibilities :
- Communicate issues with meat consistency or quality
- Follow state regulations towards meat sampling and handling to insure food safety and quality
- Operate equipment functionality with control panels
- Communicate safety and or quality concerns to management and appropriate staff
- Strict adherence to GMPs
- Strict adherence to Safety / PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management
- Accurate recordkeeping and specific paperwork for product metal detecting

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements :
Moderate degree of physical activity on a frequent basisMust be able to lift 60 lbs.Repetitive standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, grasping, climbing, reaching, and moving about the facilityHearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirementsWorks in high noise area and wears the appropriate hearing protectionVision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perceptionAble to work a multi shift environmentWill be required to work around spices and meat ingredients as part of the daily activitiesExposed to cold work environment
