Senior Associate Scientist, Pharmaceutical Formulations R&D

Zoetis is the largest animal health company in the world, with an industry-leading veterinary medicine research and development team.We seek a talented formulation scientist to join and actively contribute to our research and development team's efforts to develop novel veterinary therapeutics.

Position Responsibilities :

• Support research and development of novel pharmaceutical drug products, including sterile liquids, oral solids, suspensions, topicals, and various other dosage forms.
• Execute discovery-stage pre-formulation studies for pharmaceutical drug candidates.
• Perform drug product and raw material characterization and analysis independently, such as pH, density, viscosity, hardness, etc.
• Operate common pharmaceutical laboratory equipment and associated processes independently.
• Author technical documents such as batch records, formulation memos, study protocols, development reports, etc.
• Perform internal safety inspections and execute corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners (CROs & CMOs) throughout the development process.
• Ability to accommodate local, domestic, and international business travel up to 10% annually.

Education and Experience Requirements :

5 years' experience), or MS (with 0-5 years' experience) in chemistry, pharmaceutics, chemical / biomedical engineering, or related field.
