Schedule : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Salary : $229,000-$235,000 annually

• Annual salary for 40 hours / weekly. Candidates who can commit to 30 hours / weekly are also encouraged to apply

Overview :

The Massachusetts Mental Health Center (MMHC) seeks a licensed, board-certified (or board-eligible) psychiatrist to join our Wellness and Recovery Services Team. Our clinic serves adults receiving services through the Department of Mental Health who are living with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder, often complicated by trauma, poverty, and co-occurring medical, substance use conditions and criminal justice involvement.

This position is ideal for a psychiatrist committed to long-term, relationship-based care and to advancing recovery-oriented, evidence-based services. The role combines direct clinical care with leadership in developing and shaping our wellness programming — integrating psychopharmacologic treatment, psychosocial interventions, and measurement-based care to promote recovery, resilience, and quality of life. In addition, the position will involve supervision / teaching. An academic appointment with the Harvard Medical School is possible for the appropriate candidate.
