As a Security Guard - Retail Site - Part Time in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all staff and visitors. You will also be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, assist with access control as needed, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily duties. Pay Rate : $15.22 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AMSun06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or vendors while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols in performing security-related duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
