Location : Lexington, KY 40536 (Kentucky healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 14 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)

Clinical Setting : Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab RT)

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 17 : 30); no weekends

Weekly Hours : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2620 – $2690

Call Requirement : Late call (2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule)

Patient Demographics : Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Orientation : 30 hours

Qualifications – Electrophysiology Radiology Technologist (Travel)

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Electrophysiology Radiology Technologist (RT-EP) in a clinical or hospital setting

Expertise in cardiac ablations, loop removals, cardioversions, device and lead extractions

Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), RTR, or RTECI certification required

Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging / Radiology Therapy (KBMIRT) license or compact equivalent required at submission

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale

Completion of EKG onboarding, basic math, Electrophysiology Technician Competency, and CORE exams

Reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required at submission

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Eligible to work in the US; must be able to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals

Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted

No licensure hits accepted

Level 1 trauma experience preferred

Responsibilities – Travel Radiology Technologist (EP Lab RT)

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab, including cardiac ablations, loop removals, cardioversions, and device / lead extractions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response)

Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory protocols, including documentation and competency assessments

Participate in late call rotation as required

Deliver high-quality patient care across all age groups in a Level 1 trauma environment

Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
