Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist for a company based in Tampa, FL. This role involves working closely with the Accounting and HR departments to process payroll, AP / AR, prepare financial reports, track budgets, and handle other related tasks.

Pay Rate

$17.00 - $22 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

Account s Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice entry, vendor setup, and payment processing.
  • Perform accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and address discrepancies.
  • Generate financial reports and assist in budget tracking, cost allocations, and variance analysis as needed.
  • Process payroll using Paylocity software.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on AP / AR.
  • Payroll experience : Paylocity knowledge experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of job costing and labor allocation principles.
  • Strong MS Office and Excell skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
