Analyst

On the experimentation analyst, two main job functions :
- 1. Running experiments to validate models themselves. Testing a specific channel. Working with the modeling team to recalibrate the models as necessary. Example a model could suggest investing in google paid search. This analyst would run an experiment against this model to test the Validity of the model. If the model turns out to be invalid, they will then work with the modeling team to help recalibrate the model and then run an experiment again.
- 2. Test and Learn in General : These are tests without using a model, but rather an assumption. Taking that assumption and seeing if causes a change of outcomes or results. Example removing a link off a paid site will it cause a reduction in foot traffic to the Client site.
- Qualifications : familiarity with A / B Experimentation and Geo Testing with a marketing lens. Experience with Marketing strategies.
