POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Staff Accountant at La Cheim, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Your responsibilities will encompass various accounting tasks, including financial reconciliation, invoice processing, payroll management, financial reporting, and analysis. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will contribute to the efficient and accurate financial operations of our organization.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Knowledge I Technical Skills : Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills; Understanding of principles and practices of the organization, planning, records management and general Dependability, adaptability and confidentiality are necessary attributes. Reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
- Skilled in operating standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, calculators, copiers, scanners and facsimile machines.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with PeachTree software is a plus).
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with other computer programs.
- Previous experience in a non-profit setting is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Must have a valid California Driver License, reliable transportation, and car insurance
- Must be able to pass all required tests and clearances (Live Scan (DOJ, FBI, Guardian) TB test, etc.)

Reconcile / balance bank statements / accounts.Match supporting documentation to invoices and process invoices, check requests, and dataProcess check requests, deposits, and handle general accounting duties, including vendorAccurately review and process payroll and collaborate with HR to resolveGenerate and review aging A / P and A / R reports.Assist CFO with monthly and quarterly closing processes.Prepare basic Income and Balance SheetConduct account analysis and provide necessary reports as required by the CFO.Process employee reimbursementsPerform other assigned tasks and duties as needed.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
