Overview

Retail Sale Associates ensure our retail stores operate smoothly and provide exemplary customer service. Educated with expert product knowledge, they utilize proper selling techniques to assist customers throughout every step of the transaction process, always positively representing the New Balance brand.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model : greet, assess needs, educate on product features, solve problems, and close the sale.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate New Balance product.
• Inform customers about any current promotions.
• Maintain the sales floor : keep it neat, organized, and well stocked; label and price mark items properly.
• Protect merchandise by monitoring floor, attaching / detaching security tags, and reporting shrinkage or security violations.
• Follow safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and timely reporting of all accidents and near-miss incidents.
