Chess Teacher (Part Time, In-Person)

Job Title : Chess Teacher (Part Time)

General Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development, plans and facilitates an extracurricular course centered around chess for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Major Duties :

• Meets regularly with the Director of Educational Development
• Plans and facilitates instructional sessions
• Develop a curriculum that covers a variety of chess topics including movement, strategy, and gameplay
• Apply the skills and knowledge covered in the course to work towards a chess competition
• Models appropriate academic and social behaviors
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications : Must possess a bachelor's degree and have extensive knowledge of chess
