Position : Dietary Aide

Location : Nagel Assisted Living – Waconia, MN

Schedule : Part-Time | Every Other Weekend + Holiday

Pay : $14 - $20 per hour + $1.00 / hour Weekend Shift Differential

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and Serve Meals : Work with the culinary team to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences, creating healthy, flavorful menus.
  • Monitor Residents’ Needs : Observe eating habits and report concerns like loss of appetite or swallowing issues to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain Cleanliness : Assist with kitchen and dining area cleaning to uphold a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Operate Kitchen Equipment : Utilize food preparation tools under the guidance of the Executive Chef to ensure quality and presentation.

    • What You Bring to the Role

  • Experience in Food Service : Prior experience in food preparation or cooking is required.
  • Commitment to Cleanliness : Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations and a dedication to maintaining a hygienic kitchen.
  • Team Spirit : Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
  • Education : High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
