Job Summary
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the organization to patients visiting for laboratory testing and health diagnostics. This role is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, ensuring accurate specimen labeling, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and confidentiality . The PSR II creates a welcoming and confident environment for patients while performing critical clinical and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established protocols.
Verify patient identification and confirm specimen labeling accuracy post-collection.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and a positive image toward patients, colleagues, and the public.
Manage records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Perform data entry, verify patient information, and ensure timely specimen processing.
Travel between assigned locations as required, ensuring reliable, on-time attendance.
Support process excellence initiatives and maintain adherence to company health, safety, and dress code policies.
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, and WA).
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting preferred.
Data entry and keyboarding proficiency required.

Additional Requirements
Must have reliable personal transportation (no rideshare options).
Must maintain punctuality and attendance; excessive tardiness may result in termination.
Candidates must live within a 20–25 minute commute to the Dawsonville site.
Required health clearances : 10-Panel Drug Screen, Hep B, MMR, TB .
Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
