Bus Driver

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while providing reliable transportation services. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for serving the community, particularly in environments such as schools, or paratransit services.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle environment.
• Manage passenger behavior and enforce safety rules during transit.
• Document any incidents or issues that arise during transportation.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other staff to ensure timely service delivery.

Qualifications :

Routes are paid $40 to $50 per two hour route with 2 routes per day. Extra hours are available at $22 an hour for trips making the position possible for part or full time hours.
