About The Position
Job Title : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Profession : Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty : Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day
Hours per Shift : 10 hours (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)
Experience : Minimum of 1 year required, must have pediatric experience
License : Valid state license required; no temporary licenses accepted
Certifications : BLS, CCI RCS, ARRT-Sonography, RDCS-Adult, RDCS-Peds
Must-Have : Must have infant experience.
Description :
Must have pediatric experience.
Adult volume is approximately 95% with 8-10 patients per tech per day.
Pediatric volume is 1-2 patients per tech.
Echo Techs will complete 10 echo scans and reports per 10-hour shift.
Participation in weekend call is required.
Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state.
Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
Providers must be prepared for rotating weekend schedules.
Guaranteed hours are not applicable, as the facility may call off one shift per pay period.
All travelers must commit to working three of the five holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
References are required during the compliance process prior to the start of the assignment.
Completion of modules is necessary and self-reported, with records maintained in transcripts.
