Unit : Intermediate Care Unit (ICU) – General and Cardiac

Assignment Type : Travel RN job

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Unit Size : 12 beds

Patient Ratio : 4 : 1

Electronic Health Record : MEDITECH, MEDHOST

Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Kentucky

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience

Cardiac care experience; ability to remove post-cath stents preferred

Ability to float to Telemetry and Critical Care units

Strong teamwork and positive attitude

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU

Monitor and assess patients with critical and cardiac conditions

Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced clinical procedures

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans

Accurately document patient information in EHR systems

Float to Telemetry and other critical care areas as needed

Maintain compassionate, professional patient care standards
