Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based interventional radiology unit within a Level 1 trauma and teaching environment Handles cases such as vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, and PE thrombectomy Preferred experience includes Y90 implant and chemo embolization procedures Daily caseload per technologist is 5-8 cases Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM) weekly, with occasional week of 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM shifts On-call required : 1 weeknight every other week, 1-2 weekends per contract, and possible holiday coverage No floating to other service lines or sister facilities Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred but not required First-time travelers are accepted Previous permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler All time-off requests must be submitted up front, subject to approval based on facility needs Navy scrubs are provided Night and weekend parking available for a one-time fee All staff and contractors may be required to participate in emergency response during hurricane season (June-November) Mandatory completion of pre-start online modules averaging 4 hours Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology Current ARRT (R), SCQRSA, and BLS (AHA only) certifications required Radiation badge required; must be provided by applicant Experience in vascular access, embolization, dialysis interventions, and PE thrombectomy required Work in a Level 1 trauma setting required License required if applicable Proof of SSN and driver's license is required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625774.
