ER RN Job Details – Georgia Healthcare Jobs Location : Albany, GA 31701 (Southwest Georgia) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Emergency Room Assignment Duration : 17 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 4 / 6 / 2026) Nursing Shifts : 12-hour Nights Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Employment Type : Travel Nursing (W2) Open Positions : 4 ER RN openings Weekend / Holiday Requirement : Every 3rd-4th weekend, every other holiday Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in an acute care hospital Preferred : Travel nursing experience or 5 years in a Level 1 Trauma Center Proficiency with Meditech 6.15 EMR required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS (required); TNCC (preferred) Willingness to complete weekly COVID testing if not vaccinated Ability to pass online Cardiac Rhythms test (minimum 80%) and ESI Triage Exam during orientation ER RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Room (approx. 140 visits / day) Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for trauma, neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, and geriatric patients Utilize Meditech 6.15 for accurate charting and clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurse aides, paramedics, and behavioral health staff Manage lab draws, IV starts, and monitor patients in fast track and trauma bays Participate in orientation, ongoing clinical training, and remediation as needed Follow safety protocols and maintain a positive, professional healthcare environment Ready to take your ER nursing skills to the next level with a travel nursing job in Georgia?
