Myrtle Recovery Centers, located in Oneida, TN has Full Time Day and Night shift Behavioral Tech positions available.

Day Shift 0700-1900

Night shift 1900-0700. Night differential is hourly base+15

Summary : This position assists the nursing staff in rendering basic nursing care to assigned patients. The incumbent provides direct and indirect care following physician and nursing orders. Provides patient care / services for adults and geriatrics.

Key Performance Indicators

• Obtains information regarding assignment from patient care, care plans and in collaboration with the nursing staff.
• Provides personal care such as bathing, linen changes, mouth care, skin care and other related activities.
• Ensures routine treatments / procedures and vital signs are completed and recorded.
• Demonstrates teamwork to ensure promptness or promote quality of care.
• Completes procedures for admissions, transfers, discharges, expirations, and pre and post operative care.
• Demonstrates proper technique when turning and positioning, transferring and ambulating patients.
• Assists with nutritional needs by preparing patients for meals, distributing snacks and recording intake and output.
• Completes errands in a timely manner.
• Documents in appropriate nursing records
