Greenskeeper I

The Greenskeeper I performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and loves to work outdoors, is highly-motivated, and detail-oriented. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a world-class experience for our guests! You will perform routine labor involved in maintenance and construction, and related work. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Operates powered mowing equipment and small hand tools.

Assist with course set-up.

Performs all the following tasks, including but not limited to, mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough, raking bunkers, weed eating, fly mowing, edging, sweeping, backpack blowing, shoveling, trimming and hauling plant material.

Removes and lays sod, seeds, fertilizes and top dresses.

Assist with construction projects requiring manual labor.

Qualifications

Education And / Or Experience

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Reasoning Ability

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Driver's License and satisfactory MVR for 3 years.
