As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Supervisor in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role is to remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting occurrences as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related risks.

Observe and report any irregularities, potential hazards, or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and site leadership.

Operate access control systems or equipment as required by site-specific policies.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and access control events.

Communicate with team members, site staff, and Allied Universal management regarding any security-related concerns or instructions.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
