Behavior Specialist

A company is looking for a Behavior Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, facilitate, document, and revise Behavior Support Plans in accordance with individual support plans

Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments and observations in various settings

Collaborate with individuals, families, and support teams to maintain behavior support plans and provide training to support staff

Required Qualifications and Education

Relevant degree in behavioral health or a related field

Experience in developing Behavior Support Plans and conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments

Ability to work under appropriate clinical supervision

Knowledge of behavioral health practices and policies

Experience in training or mentoring support staff is preferred
