Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following part-time temporary position : Maintenance Technician Intern in the Department of Parking & Transportation Services.

The Maintenance Technician Intern will assist the Maintenance Technician in the performance of inspecting, trouble shooting, servicing, and repairing of diesel-powered equipment.

Required : A high school diploma or GED. Must be a student in and have a recommendation from the HGTC diesel program. Pass background check, drug screening and submit to future random drug screenings. A valid driver’s license.

Duties :

• Assist Maintenance Technician in the performance of inspecting, trouble shooting, servicing, and repairing of equipment and vehicles.
• Basic cleaning and servicing of vehicles.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to, faculty, staff , students, visitors and the community at large.

Temporary staff position. (TP0601 / NS01339P). Salary commensurate with experience. Normal work days and hours vary. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
