Documentation : Adept at documenting processes and sharing insights for team growth. Customer Focus : Ability to understand and adapt designs to meet customer needs, even when unclear. Collaboration : Ability to work with different departments to meet project goals and deadlines. Multi-tasking : Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines and budgets. Communication : Clear in conveying technical details to stakeholders. Leadership : Motivating and training production teams on new processes. Process Optimization : Always seeking ways to streamline design and production processes. Technology Awareness : Staying updated on latest tech, materials, and manufacturing trends. R&D : Involved in research and development to innovate and improve products. CAD Skills : Proficient with SolidWorks or ProE for mechanical design. Electronics Knowledge : Solid understanding of circuit design and tools like Altium or LTspice. Technical Familiarity : With PLCs, embedded systems, microcontrollers. Manufacturing Processes : Knowledge of machining, molding, and assembly. Problem Solving : Strong analytical skills for quick issue resolution. Communication : Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Multitasking : Capable of handling multiple projects efficiently. Education & Experience : Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field; 10+ years in electro-mechanical design or engineering; manufacturing or product development experience preferred.
Job Description
As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will bridge the gap between electrical controls—such as motors, automation, and robotics—and mechanical design. You'll work on exciting projects that integrate technology to enhance efficiency, precision, and functionality within a fast-paced, highly regulated food production environment. Expect a mix of research, prototyping, testing, and real-world deployment to drive improvements in factory operations.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
Design and Development
- 3D Design Expertise : Extensive experience with SolidWorks or similar tools, creating detailed 3D models and drawings.
- Hands-On Maker : Comfortable working with suppliers to get parts made, and experienced in assembling and testing designs to bring systems to life.
- Automation Knowledge : Ability to select sensors, actuators, motors, and control systems to automate and optimize mechanical designs for maximum performance.
