Production Supervisor

Title: Production Supervisor - 2nd shift
Location: Franklin Park, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Shift : 2nd shift (2-11pm M-F, some Saturdays as needed)
Compensation: $55-75k, OT eligible

Overview:
A well-established food manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead frontline production teams and ensure daily operational goals are met. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-volume, regulated manufacturing environment while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Job Duties:

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members across assigned production lines, reinforcing safety and performance expectations
• Oversee daily production schedules to ensure output, efficiency, and customer demand targets are achieved
• Enforce GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards to maintain compliance with regulatory and quality requirements
• Track and report production KPIs including yields, downtime, labor efficiency, and material usage
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize operations
• Support employee onboarding and ongoing training to promote consistency and operational excellence

Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience within a food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced production settings
• Comfortable working flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in temperature-controlled environments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
