Position Overview :
Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where you'll perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. You will support your fellow imaging technologists and ensure a smooth patient flow. Flexibility is key, as you'll have the opportunity to work various shifts and locations as needed. You will troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and resolve challenges related to image processing and archiving systems. Continuous education and adherence to safety protocols are integral to this role. Upholding imaging competency standards and ensuring radiation safety while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals are essential. - Ensure that all completed exams are properly scanned and stored in the PACS system.
- Act as a PACS Superuser, following downtime procedures and escalating issues to the PACS administrator as needed.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications : Education & Skills :
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program.Experience :
Preferred : 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting.Basic computer proficiency is a requirement.Licensure & Certification :
Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT or NMTCB is required.State Licensure required :Texas : MRT by TMB
Louisiana : LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTBENew Mexico : NMT by MIRTP NMEDBLS certification is mandatory.Work Schedule : To be determined.
