Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot any inconsistencies, and ensure maintenance and calibration of lab equipment are performed regularly.
• Be involved in specimen collection and preparation of samples for testing when necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all procedures, participate in training new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards diligently.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) acquired within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your time of employment.
