Responsibilities

• As an engineer in a relatively new team, work on challenging problems in the low latency / high throughput domain of dynamic ad insertion for Live Sports and Video on demand.
• Contribute to architecture that processes high TPS (in millions) with high reliability and low operational overhead; build systems in the core path of video delivery to Prime Video customers worldwide.
• Collaborate with teams using AWS technologies including AWS CloudFront, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS and internal AWS incubator technologies.

About the team

The team designs large-scale systems to power live and VoD streams with ads viewed by a massive audience daily, elevating the customer streaming video experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600 / year in our highest geographic market.
