Job description

Project Manager Electrical Construction

Salary Range : Up to $145K

Location : Office-based with flex hours

Benefits : 100% employer-paid health insurance (includes family)

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Manager to lead high-impact commercial construction projects valued at $5M+. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team delivering complex, large-scale builds that shape communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate and order materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
  • Lead collaboration across field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Proactively manage change ordersnegotiating, documenting, and executing to align with project goals
  • Monitor project progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with specs and codes
  • Lead project meetings, prepare reports, and provide clear communication to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects over $5M
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple large projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and building codes
  • Expertise in cost control, risk management, and material procurement
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • PMP or similar certification preferred
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
