Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Cardiac Stepdown, Med Surg / Stepdown, Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Unit : Clinical Resource Team Admin Location : Rock Island, IL 61201 (Quad Cities, Illinois nursing jobs) Start Date : October 27, 2025 End Date : January 26, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend EMR System : EPIC Orientation : 16 hours Estimated Weekly Pay : $1950 - $2090 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg and PCU nursing experience (required to float between specialties) At least 1 completed travel nursing contract Ability to float within the same discipline across local healthcare campuses as needed Submission of work history / resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and at least 1 supervisory reference Proof of taxable address at least 50 miles from facility (per travel nurse policy) Travel RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to Cardiac Stepdown, Med Surg, and PCU patients Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Float between Med Surg and PCU units as needed to support clinical staffing needs Accurately document all patient care activities in the EPIC EMR system Participate in charge nurse or preceptor duties as assigned Maintain compliance with all healthcare facility policies and procedures Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Registered Nurse in Rock Island, Illinois.
