Print Production Manager (Lead)
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our Print Production operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing processes to ensure that projects are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of production management principles.
Responsibilities
Production Planning and Scheduling :
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to forecast and meet project deadlines
- Adjust schedules as needed in response to changes (internal and external)
- Works with Direct Mail Team on production feasibility of new projects
Resource management :
Manage production resources effectivelyCollaborate with teams to ensure timely and accurate production of projectsManages production of all external projects from creation of final art through delivery or mailingReviews all job specifications for effectiveness and economyReview all vendor invoices for accuracyAlways keeps client standards and budget at the forefront of all decisionsTeam Leadership and Development :
Supervise, motivate, and train production team membersSet performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.Process Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvementsImplement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costsSeeks the latest, effective cutting-edge packages and presents ideas to both Creative and Client ServicesRequirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
