Job descriptionPractice Setting : NICU Level III Number of Neonatologists : 3 Number of Pediatric Mid-Levels : 6 plus 1 per diem Supervision : Yes, RNs in the NICU and other ancillary staff as needed Support Staff : Neonatologist present during the day and on call available 24 hours otherwise Number of Exam Rooms : 16 bed unit Average Number of Admissions Per Day : 0-2 Total Number of Beds : 16 bed NICU unit coverage with coverage for well baby problems only during nightshift NICU Level : Level III Required to Attend C-Sections Required to Cover Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery Average Number of Patients Per Day : 8-9 EMR : EPIC Neonatal Required Procedures : Ventilation Management Invasive (ETT) Non-invasive (BiPAP / CPAP) Chest Tube Insertion Exchange Transfusions UAC / UVC placement, LPs Evaluation & Management of Acute Volume / BP Issues Insertion of Central Line Insertion of Arterial Line Diagnostic / Therapeutic Taps Board Certified - Neonatology / experienced NICU PA Active NY License Must have experience and be comfortable managing patients independently
Coverage Needed
- Shift : Long Term - Full Time Coverage - 7 days on / 7 days off 12-hour shifts (days or nights)
