About Us
We are launching Connecticuts first dedicated Dental Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), focused on providing safe, high-quality care for children and adults requiring anesthesia for dental procedures. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager / Director of Operations to lead both the clinical team and daily operations.
Role Overview
This unique dual-role combines clinical leadership with operational management. You will oversee nursing and support staff, ensure compliance with CT Department of Public Health (DPH), CMS, and accreditation standards, and play a hands-on role in both patient care and ASC administration.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support clinical staff in pre-op, OR, and PACU.
Lead infection control, quality assurance, and survey readiness.
Manage day-to-day ASC operations, staffing schedules, and patient flow.
Ensure compliance with CMS and Connecticut DPH regulations.
Support budgeting, supply chain, and coordination with the MSO.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut (required).
BSN required; MSN or MHA preferred.
Minimum 35 years nursing leadership in ASC, outpatient surgery, or hospital perioperative setting.
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification required.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
