Join our team as an experienced Tax Attorney Partner specializing in Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits . The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience advising clients on complex benefit structures, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401(k) plans, and profit-sharing plans. Our firm offers a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with partners on innovative and challenging cases.
Tax Attorney Responsibilities :
- Provide expert counsel on executive compensation and employee benefit matters, including designing, implementing, and maintaining retirement and compensation plans.
- Advise clients on compliance with ERISA, Internal Revenue Code regulations, and other relevant laws governing employee benefits.
- Handle complex matters related to defined benefit and contribution plans, 401(k) plans, profit-sharing plans, deferred compensation, and stock options.
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates to deliver strategic tax advice to clients.
- Draft and review legal documents, including plan amendments and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Advise corporate clients on compensation and benefits issues in mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, managing a portable book of business.
- Ensure all filings, submissions, and reporting obligations are completed on time.
Tax Attorney Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in executive compensation, employee benefits, and tax law, particularly with ERISA-governed benefit plans.Strong knowledge of retirement plan structures, including defined benefit, defined contribution, 401(k), and profit-sharing plans.Exceptional drafting, communication, and analytical skills.Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.Portable book of business and excellent client relationship management.Florida Bar membershipTax Attorney Benefits :
