We’re seeking a NetSuite Systems Administrator to serve as the primary technical, functional, and security lead for Seiko’s Oracle NetSuite ERP system. This individual will partner with Finance and Operations to enhance efficiency, strengthen data governance, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. The role will manage system performance, implement automation, maintain user access and security controls, and reduce reliance on external vendors. Responsibilities include overseeing quarterly NetSuite updates, managing EDI integrations, administering roles and permissions, ensuring compliance with JSOX controls, and exploring AI-driven process improvements. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of financial workflows, internal controls, and compliance frameworks (JSOX), along with the technical expertise to configure, secure, and optimize NetSuite workflows, scripts, roles, and integrations.
This is a hybrid position and will require in office attendance at our Saddle River, NJ headquarters as needed.
- Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary NetSuite and Security Administrator, supporting all users across Finance, Operations, and Warehouse.
- Configure and maintain NetSuite roles, permissions, workflows, dashboards, and reports to support business operations and financial processes.
- Lead quarterly NetSuite updates, performing impact analysis, testing, and deployment with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee JSOX system controls, ensuring proper segregation of duties, user access governance, and audit readiness in collaboration with Finance and Audit.
- Manage and troubleshoot system performance issues, integrations, and data accuracy across connected systems (Oracle WMS, OIC, Boomi).
- Develop and maintain SuiteFlow workflows and light SuiteScript customizations to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Enhance automation in core financial workflows (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report) while ensuring system compliance.
- Collaborate with external vendors for complex scripting and integration projects while handling routine changes internally.
- Explore and implement AI-driven tools to improve reporting and business insights.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, workflows, and procedures, and provide training to end users.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting Finance or ERP compliance environments is highly desirable.
- 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Experience managing roles, permissions, and system security configurations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting workflows, scripts, and system processes.
- Familiarity with SuiteScript 2.0 (JavaScript) for small to medium customizations.
- Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory).
- Working knowledge of JSOX controls and system audit compliance requirements.
- Experience managing EDI integrations and coordinating with middleware solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
