Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CCU / ICU Float Pool

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • Schedule : 3 shifts per week (3x12)

    • \n

  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36 hours

    • \n

  • Assignment length : 13 weeks

    • \n

  • Float between multiple units including Med Surg (36 beds), Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care (30 beds), MS Stepdown (8 beds), and ICU (12 beds)

    • \n

  • Patient ratios vary by unit : MS 1 : 6, Cardiac Stepdown 1 : 4, MS Stepdown 1 : 3, ICU 1 : 2 or 1 : 1

    • \n

  • Weekend hours as required by facility with expectation of every other full weekend

    • \n

  • Call requirements as required by facility

    • \n

  • Must work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIH

    • \n

  • Current RN License eligible for Missouri licensure required

    • \n

  • Minimum 1+ years Critical Care experience required

    • \n

  • EPIC EMR experience preferred

    • \n

  • Must be team player with ability to work with various teams and be adaptable

    • \n

  • Dress code : Black scrubs provided by traveler

    • \n

  • Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1

    • \n

  • Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period

    • \n\n
