Head Of AI & Emerging Technologies
As Head Of AI & Emerging Technologies, you are responsible for shaping and executing the company's strategy for Artificial Intelligence and next-generation technologies. This role does not include direct reports but requires strategic leadership, cross-functional influence, and thought leadership. The successful candidate will partner across every area of the business to drive innovation, accelerate adoption, and deliver measurable business value through AI, automation, and other emerging technologies.
Strategy & Vision
Define and lead the company-wide roadmap for AI and emerging technologies, aligning with business goals. Act as a thought leader and evangelist, inspiring executives and employees on the potential of AI and future innovations. Anticipate and monitor industry trends to ensure the company stays ahead of competitors.
Innovation & Experimentation
Partner with Engineering, Solution Delivery, and Digital Excellence teams to design, test, and scale pilots. Identify and evaluate external technology partners, startups, and platforms that can accelerate transformation. Champion innovation in advertising effectiveness, creative automation, audience analytics, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the trusted advisor for AI and emerging tech across the organization. Translate complex technology concepts into clear, actionable business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders. Influence adoption across multiple business units without direct reporting lines. Challenge and inspire Cybersecurity and Platform Optimization teams to raise their standards and capabilities, ensuring the organization's infrastructure, resilience, and protections are strong enough to support the demands of AI and other emerging technologies.
Governance & Responsible Technology
Establish principles and guardrails for ethical, secure, and responsible use of AI and emerging technologies. Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and industry standards. Promote transparency and trust in technology adoption.
Measurement & Business Value
Define KPIs and success metrics to measure ROI from AI and emerging tech initiatives. Communicate results, insights, and recommendations regularly to executive leadership. Ensure innovations deliver sustainable value that drives both revenue growth and cost savings.
The targeted salary range for this Washington State position is $206,000 to $260,000 annually. Hourly roles are overtime eligible; Operations roles are Productivity Pay eligible.
