We are looking for a Technical Product Manager experienced with driving SQL database capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a popular open-source project to extend and deepen its core capabilities and to develop cloud-native extensions that delight developers and data analysts across many use cases and market segments. If you are results-driven, with a can do mentality and a bias for action, we would love to hear from you. / ppWhat you will be doing : / pulliUnderstand the real-time analytics and cloud database markets, competition, and technology trends in depth / liliEngage with the ClickHouse open-source user community and ClickHouse Cloud customers to understand current and aspirational use cases / liliDistill and prioritize feature requests and issues into clear priorities for net-new capabilities and improvements / liliWork with engineering teams to scope and refine approaches to solving customer problems, both in the core database and in ClickHouse Cloud offerings / liliSet clear measurable goals around customer success, and use data-driven approaches to ensure new capabilities meet customer needs / liliStay up-to-date on the state of the market and competitive landscape to identify needed features and areas of improvement for ClickHouse / liliWork with partners to grow ClickHouse awareness and visibility / li / ulpWhat you bring along : / pulliKnowledgeable and passionate about data engineering markets / liliStrong vision around where these markets are headed / liliPrevious experience with ClickHouse or a highly related OLAP technology at a deeply technical level / liliPrevious experience with open-source projects, ideally as a product manager / liliPassionate about building enterprise capabilities that are powerful yet easy to use / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills / liliComfortable with public speaking at meetups, conferences, webinars / liliAbility to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority / liliComfortable working with ambiguity and evolving based on business needs / liliAbility and desire to work with customers or community members, being able to provide technical guidance and help customers during their POC / li / ulpBonus Points for : / pulliPrevious contributions to open-source projects / liliEngineering experience, ideally around distributed / cloud systems in C++ / liliExperience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organization / li / ulpThe typical starting salary for this role in the US is $126,650 - $193,800 USD / ppThe typical starting salary for this role in US Premium Markets is $149,000 - $228,000 USD / ppThese salary ranges reflect what we reasonably and in good faith believe to be the minimum and maximum pay for this role at the time of posting.
