POSITION SUMMARY
The Forecast Specialist is responsible for operative planning / forecasting of products and supplies to support the Supply Chain of the Independent Aftermarket.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS
- Creation and analysis of the product forecast, aligning it with Sales / Controlling and processing it through SAP using the appropriate forecasting tools.
- Monitor sales volumes, seasonal patterns, and trends to help create a rolling 12-month product forecast for inventory, immediate and future sales.
- Develop inventory management strategies based on available tools and team input, supporting RU objectives.
- Use root cause analysis to develop and implement solutions for optimal inventory levels and support sales / customer requirements.
- Create reports to analyze RU inventory / sales mix and develop strategies to improve KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Independent Aftermarket sales team, customers, and distributors to provide accurate monthly forecasts for units and revenue.
- Upload monthly forecast data to SAP using prescribed system tools.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Manage and report on key performance indicators and critical tasks.
- Maintain product master data and documentation.
- Support the reporting of the unit's annual LRP forecast process.
- Provide ad-hoc sales / forecast analyses as requested.
- Lead monthly inventory postmortem analyses for relevant product categories.
- Assist in launching new products.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Studies in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, with professional experience.5-6 years of forecasting and logistics experience.Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.Proficiency with SAP and MS Office / Teams.Excellent English language skills.Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.Core Competencies
