ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

$78,000 - $95,000, DOE

JOB SUMMARY

As an Electrical Software Test Engineer in Fargo, ND, you may : create tests from analyzing requirements and technical specifications; read and analyze CAN (J1939) messages using CANalyzer; support and procure parts and testing equipment as needed; read electrical schematics; complete tests and troubleshooting on issues found during testing; report and track issue resolution; create and manage Python scripts for testing automation; complete complex analysis on large volumes of data;  collaborate with other engineers to create and execute a software validation plan, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical / Computer / Software Engineering required
• A minimum of three two of previous engineering experience required
• Experience troubleshooting Software / Electrical problems required
• Familiarity with the design / validation process, including test creation and execution, required
• Proficiency with CANalyzer and / or Python strongly preferred
• Previous experience with telematics a plus
