About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse Level 2

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 15 weeks

Shift : 7a - 7p / 7p - 7a rotations

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum years of experience required

License :

Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Client.

Certifications : Minimum :

BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.

Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.

CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred :

Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire.

TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.

Must-Have :

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to interact with people in a professional and courteous manner.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Strong teamwork abilities through effective role modeling.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records preferred.

Description :

This position involves caring for patients in an acute care setting.

Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.

The individual must be able to assess data reflective of patient status.

They should interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Care should be provided for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.

The staff member is expected to exemplify behaviors consistent with principles of professionalism.

Effective communication and attention to the environment are essential.

The role also emphasizes the importance of ensuring safety, dignity, and respect for all patients.
