Overview

Beauty Advisor / Artist Freelancer – ELCP-MI (Estée Lauder Companies) seeks freelance sales associates to provide makeup application, skincare advice, hair or fragrance consultations, and deliver a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience. You will work as part of a high-performing team to support in-store events and maintain visual merchandising standards to stand out against competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Perform makeup application, skincare, hair, or fragrance consultations as needed
  • Collaborate with the store team on in-store events and uphold high visual merchandising standards

    • Qualifications

  • Retail experience is preferred; applicants with amateur or beginner-level experience demonstrating high creative and technical skills will be considered
  • Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Must provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to interview

    • Pay and Benefits

    The anticipated hourly range is $21.60 to $32.40. Exact rate depends on experience, skills, education, and location. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The company also offers a range of benefits including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave, holidays, and vacation time, with some benefits subsidized or fully paid.
