Job Title : Welder
Job Description
As a Welder, you will create strong and durable welds by striking an arc to melt and deposit metal from an electrode onto work pieces, joining their edges. You will manually guide the electrode or welding gun along the weld line, maintaining precision to form the desired depth and bead, judged by the color of the metal, sound of the weld, and the size of the molten puddle. Welding will be performed in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead. Your role will involve examining welds for bead size and specifications, applying filler rods, cleaning weld joints, repairing broken parts, and preparing surfaces for welding.

Work Environment
The facility is medium-sized and relatively clean, though it is non-temperature controlled and can become very hot in the summer.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr.
