Were seeking a Senior Business Development Manager who gets energized by meeting potential customers, understanding their challenges, and connecting them with products and services that can transform their teams. Youll spend your time at industry events, networking dinners, and one-on-one meetings, building relationships with technology executives who are wrestling with legacy systems, slow delivery, or team productivity challenges.
This role requires hustle and creativity youll need to consistently hit your lead generation targets by finding innovative ways to meet new prospects every week. Whether its discovering the perfect local tech meetup, leveraging LinkedIn strategically, or building relationships that open doors to new networks, youll be constantly thinking of new approaches to connect with the right people.
This isnt about cold calling from a desk its about being out in the world, working hard to build a pipeline that matters, and having real conversations with smart people about problems you can actually help solve.
What Youll Do
Generate and qualify leads through multiple high-impact channels :
Active participation in industry conferences, tradeshows, and networking events (both local and national)
Strategic relationship building through in-person meetings, LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach
Leverage both Strides company connections and your personal network to expand reach
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise-level technology leaders across various industries
Originate and nurture business relationships that result in qualified meeting opportunities
Present Strides unique AI-accelerated services tailored to the needs of potential clients senior executives
Develop and maintain a robust lead pipeline through consistent networking and creative follow-up activities
Apply critical thinking to connect our service and product offerings to prospects specific technology challenges
Manage CRM activities with all prospect interactions and lead qualification data
Travel approximately 50% of the time for events and meetings (mix of local and national travel)
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
3-8 years of experience with proven success in :
Top-of-funnel lead generation - Youre genuinely enthusiastic about the early stages of the sales process and take pride in creating opportunities from scratch
Selling technology services (not just products) - You understand the nuances of consultative selling and service-based value propositions
Consistent networking and relationship building - You thrive on meeting new people every week and naturally maintain professional connections
In-person event participation - Youre comfortable and effective at conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
Multi-channel prospecting including LinkedIn, email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
Essential Capabilities
Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technology - Youre excited about the GenAI revolution and can speak credibly about its business impact
Relentless networking drive - You genuinely enjoy meeting new prospects consistently and building connections through events and face-to-face interactions
Strong in-person networking skills - You rapidly establish rapport in time-constrained conference environments and create lasting business relationships
Compelling communication - You deliver persuasive pitches and effectively present value propositions across different audiences and environments
Persistence through rejection - You maintain enthusiasm and adapt your approach when facing objections or challenges
Self-starter mentality - You operate autonomously with minimal supervision and can quickly adjust strategies based on results
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling custom software development or AI / ML services
Track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation quotas
Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven sales approaches
Understanding of enterprise technology decision-making processes

We offer competitive compensation that scales with experience. Base salary ranges from $80,000-$100,000, with on-target earnings up to $200,000 through performance-based incentives. Compensation will be aligned to level of experience and track record of success.
