The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team :

Role Overview :

RTX is seeking a Principal Linux Administrator to support a highly virtualized Enterprise infrastructure with a focus on Linux-based systems. The role involves working under the supervision of technical team leaders in collaboration with team members across multiple sites.

This role is ideal for candidates with specialized expertise in Linux system administration a commitment to collaboration and the ability to work in a high-security environment.

This role is onsite in either McKinney TX or Tucson AZ. It requires an active TS / SCI with CI Poly clearance in order to be considered.

What You Will Do :

• Install and manage Linux server hardware operating systems and software.
• Perform software upgrades patching and system maintenance on Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and apply security policies specific to Linux environments.
• Conduct information assurance testing and vulnerability mitigation for Linux systems.
• Maintain data storage and monitor server operations.
• Manage backup systems and provide Tier 2 support to the IT Service Desk.
• Document processes and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Provide remote support for systems across multiple locations.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
