Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine dental exams, cleanings, and preventative care.
• Diagnose and treat oral health issues such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
• Administer anesthesia and perform procedures including fillings, crowns, implants, extractions, and root canals.
• Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software systems.
• Adhere to all infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and continuing education.

Qualifications :

DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.

Active state dental license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain).

CPR / BLS certification required.

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently and compassionately with patients of all ages.

Experience with digital charting and X-ray systems preferred.
