Who we are :
In 1998 we were stuck behind desk jobs we didnt like and we were miserable. So we quit. We tossed out business suits for bathing suits got our wisdom teeth pulled while we still had coverage and signed up for every credit card we could. On the same day within ten minutes of each other we walked out of our jobs grabbed a drink and started chasing the American Dream. Twenty years in and some things have changed but were the same at our core. Were still having a ton of fun hanging with Real Good People and sharing the gift of the Vineyard with everyone we can.
Reports To : Captain (Store Manager) / First Mate (Assistant Manager) / Second Mate (Part time Manager)
Overview :
Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain First Mates and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience supports our brand promise (Every Day Should Feel This Good) and makes service a top priority.
Functions & Responsibilities :
- Generate Sales
- Responsible for meeting their goals / measures
- Develops and maintains relationships with top customers
- Supports in-store event sourcing and execution
Customer Experience
Ensures the store reflects Shep & Ians vision of Every Day Should Feel This Good to our customers through Hosting the PartyLeads the store in email capture and educating new associates on best practicesEnsures the customer wish list is always current with customers being notified when product arrivesCrew Development
Assists with training new associatesHelps foster a welcoming fun encouraging and energetic crew and customer environmentHelps in recruiting and referring top talent for the stores teamsSupports store and team-building activities with the management teamOperations
Maintains efficient merchandise controlsMaintains loss prevention awareness at all timesHelps maintain a clean and tidy store environmentMerchandising
