About The Position

Summary :

This role will cover both inpatient and outpatient services, with a primary focus on outpatient care. Outpatient caseloads typically consist of 30-minute treatments and 60-minute evaluations, while inpatient schedules are usually handled in 2-hour blocks with 2–4 patients. Physical Therapists can expect to see 10–12 patients per day, with the possibility of more if a 10-hour shift schedule is approved.

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall function.

Manage a primarily outpatient caseload with occasional inpatient coverage.

Document all evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately in EPIC.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients and families on exercise plans, therapy goals, and strategies to support recovery.

Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and infection control standards.

Float to other ThedaCare facilities within scope of practice when required.

Job Requirements

Licensure / Certifications : Active Wisconsin Physical Therapist license and AHA BLS required

Experience : Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience required (open to new graduates)

Charting System : EPIC experience required
